We have a part file with hundreds of design table driven configurations.
Today, we went to edit it and discovered the embedded excel design
table was blown out and they are all manual. We have a working back up
from a while back and I was thinking about replacing the current one
with the known old one (unless someone can tell me an alternate way of
re-associating an embedded design table that no longer appears. Does
SWx have a summary telling me how many configurations are in a part?
I'd be nice, for example, to see that I have 560 configs in the
"corrupted" Design table missing file, and 560 in the back up and not
    have to count configurations.

    Any ideas?

  2. Save the old design table externally, then insert that table into the newer
    (missing table) part.

That table should take control of all configurations and show any new
configs not driven by the old table.
