Delete all states from -LMAN?

I'm working on a script using -LMAN from Express Tools to automatically
import and restore a saved layer state. 'No problems with that, but I'd also
like to delete all the existing layer states before that, but the Delete
option in -LMAN requires each state to be explicitly listed - it won't
accept wildcards to list the states.

Does anyone know of a workaround to allow deleting all existing layer states
via the command line or lisp, regardless of their names? And I'm talking
about Express Tools Layer Manager, not the one in the standard Layer dialog
    box. R2005.

Thanks for any ideas - John

Nevermind - I found a snippet of code in Jimmy Bergmark's purger.lsp that
    works perfect!
