I wanted to make people aware of an issue and solution when using an OCE TDS 600. We currently are on a Novell network and plot to the 600 from 2004. We were very frustrated by 2 simultaneous issues.

After creating a pc3 using the Oce Windows System printer, we could not create custom sheet sizes. An attempt was made to make custom sizes available from the server side, but it was unsuccessful.

With the Windows System Print driver unusable we turned to creating a pc3 with an AutoCAD HDI driver. In this case custom sizes could be created, but we experienced "mirroring" of certain AutoCAD native fonts. The text in question would be mirrored to the opposing side of the sheet (top to bottom, left to right, etc) and in some cases would appear grayed back.

Eventually we found that the line join and line end style in the ctb files had to be changed. Once we found the right combination plots no longer mirrored using the HDI pc3.
