I am creating a custom .pat file with a custom brick pattern --as I understand it the first number in the sequence is the angle of the line to be drawn i.e. 0 for a line to go to the right, 90 for a line to go up -90 to go down and 180 to go left. The second a third numbers are the start point for the line x,y, coordinates. and the fourth and fifth are the change in x and y. I cant use the hatch I created it gives me an "error in BRICKS-1 pattern" error message

    any ideas?

  2. Can you post the pattern definition? Or describe the pattern, and maybe
someone has one already that they'd be willing to share.

One thing I know can cause problems is if it's the last pattern in a file
and if it doesn't have a Return at the end of the last line of code. Make
sure you can position the cursor on the blank line below the last line of
code. (But that may not be it, because I think if that's missing you might
not even see the pattern in the hatching dialog box, anyway.)
