    has anybody experienced this? im customizing an 11x17 paper for an HP5000 laser printer. even though everything looks ok in terms of seeing the paper size and printable area, the printer still prints on 8.5x11. i tried using the built-in 11x17 and it prints 11x17. there is no other setting to see what is different.

    ive read this workaround in the knowledgebase but it was for lower versions. basically fooling the printer by attaching a different pmp file that was created from another printer that allowed multiple custom paper sizes and names (instead of custom1, custom2, etc).

    i also tried the server properties from the printers and faxes file pulldown and added my sizes there but i do not see the sizes as an option when selecting my printer.

    im working on autocad 2004 running on XP.

    any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

    How are you "customizing" this 11x17 paper? How's it different from the
    standard 11x17?

    How many trays do you have. I have 4 trays. Tray 1 is the "flop down" ,
    Tray 2 11x17, tray 3 Letter, Tray 4 Legal. Set them up in the
    Windows -> printers.
