    I'm new to AutoSketch.

I need to draw a sign that has a white border, brown fill inside the white border, with white text in front of the brown fill.

No matter what I've tried, I end up with black text on the brown fill.

What's the secret to this? It can't be as hard as it's turning out to be. :)

You got me. I thought you were crazy at first. Tried it myself and
I'll be darned---I get the same results. I even tried putting a filled
white rectangle on the brown one and it also shows in black. Seems
like any white fill is converted to black for some reason.

btw, I am trying this on AS9.

I found a way. But it is crazy.
Create text. Select text then convert to polygons. Select a color and choose fill. You have to click in just the right places on the text to get the color you want.

Must be a better way. A real need for update to Sketch.

oops! Under my method, most colors work. But if you choose white fill and apply--it applies black?????

    Crazy
