Create Custom 'Object' to Schedule... and Schedule

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Martin Schmid, Feb 9, 2004.

  1. What is the basic procedure to create a Schedule based on certain
properties... I.e., in Acad2000, we had simple attributed blocks, and had to
manually develop the schedule. Now, I'd like to take advantage of the
ADT2004 scheduling capabilites to create schedules based on these attributed
blocks... do I need to make the blocks 'special' to ADT some how, to be able
to link the blocks to schedules?

Thanks for any help... I'm new to ADT, and have no clue.

  2. To use the scheduling features of ADT you will need to get very familiar
with Property Sets. The basic mechanics of creating a schedule is to A)
Create a property set definition, B) Attach the property set to an ADT
object or style, C) Create a schedule based on the objects with the attached
    property sets.
