I have a lisp that draws an elevation and plan.(in MS). I am thinking about
going another step further to insert a title block and making viewports(in
PS). I guess the biggest problem is how do you "capture"all the detail in
    the viewport.
I may also possibly make another viewport and show a 3d view of the
    elevation, in another viewport.
My question is: has anyone done something like this and what are the
    pitfalls to look out for?

    Thanks for any replies

The core is what you must define first. You must define the object first and
then you may extract all the required information for it to be projected
into it's individual elevations. The rest should be easy.

Our MASi tools define the modulated core first then the individual
    components do the rest.
