I want to learn a 3D solid surfaces program, as a student I have a copy of
Solid works, but my college only offers Inventor. Would the course be
applicable, or should I go out and buy Inventor instead?
my previous background is in AutoCAD

    thanks

  2. go to the Inventor course, and practice on SW : all the basic concepts are
    the same.
After a few hours, you'll know both products enough to know which is best.
