Converting plt files to dwg files

    Hi,
    I have recieved a disk of tiff images and plt files of a project from which
    I will produce shop dwgs.
    I hate to think I have to trace the tiff images.
    Can the plt file be converted into dwg files.
    This would be a tremendous timesaver?
