Converting dxf files to pdf on the Unix command line.

    Does anyone know how to convert dxf files to pdfs with Unix.
    I tried pstoedit to no avail.

    The below produces: GPL Ghostscript 8.70: Unrecoverable error, exit
    code 1
    pstoedit -f gs:pdfwrite ~/Desktop/file.dxf ~/Desktop/file.pdf

    If pstoedit can't convert dxf to pdf, is there a unix package that
    can? I wanted to convert these file to (pdf or jpg) so imagemagick
    could convert the result to a thumbnail image
