Control-C to escape....................................how in 2004?

    I still am not used to using the escape key to abort a command.... I
    don't think I can. How to I make it work in 2004? Thanx.

    Maybe I misunderstand your question because Ctl-C does cancel a command in
    2k4.

    You will have something similar to this:

    Tools, Preferences, Compatibility, Priority for Accelerator Keys, Windows
    Standard or AutoCAD Standard.

    That depands on the settings of AutoCAD. If you open the options
    dialog and go to the sixth tab (in german "Benutzereinstellungen") you
    can choose in the right top, if you want standard windows keys or not.
    If yes, ctl-c does a copyclip, if no it acts as cancel
