Configuring a JetDirect 610 for use with AutoCAD

We have a HP Designjet 1050C Plus with a JetDirect 610 installed. We are
using TCP/IP and disabled the other protocols we don't use. The servers,
printers, and this plotter have static IP addresses. I enabled internet
printing and it works just fine. The office is a mixed environment of Win2k
and XP Pro workstations. Our domain controller is Windows SBS 2003. We are
using Land Desktop 2005 (AutoCAD 2005) with all the patches.

I can plot to the plotter across the network from a test workstation but
want to get your feedback before I roll this out to 20 other computers. I
configured the jetdirect card, created a custom port on my test computer,
and created a PC3 file which is stored on the network and accessed by all
users. Is it necessary to configure a new TCP/IP printer port on all the
workstations in order to make this work? Can I do something on the server
instead of setting up a port on every computer? Is there a better way to
configure this plotter for use on a network?

    Thanks,
    Frank
