Comminication center

Is it possible to programmatically reach communication
center and send messages to users over it. thanks,

if everyone is on nt, 2000 or xp, you could use net send

(setq message (strcat "net send " username "message to send"))
(command ".shell" message)

there have also been a few codes in this group demostrating how one might send an email using autocad. you'll have to do a search though.
