Color Printer

Using ACAD Map 5, what would people recommend for a color printer that
prints up to 11X17. I a looking for any recommendations, suggestions,
ideas. I would prefer a laser color printer to an ink-jet one. Thanks for
the advice.

depends how much money you have available.

For less then $500, I am happy with my Epson 1280.
If you want to spend less then $700 there is the Epson 2200.
Both of these are very good ink-jets.

For about $6000 the HP 8500 is terrific I think. This is a laser color and
black ane white printer, with 3 trays for different size paper.

HP makes a 12X18 full bleed for less than $400 - check hp.com

 

This I've got to see.
A color laserjet that does 12"x18" for less than $400.
Model number, please.

I don't know what the offerings are concerning ledger color lasers, but if
you'll consider inkjet, I would like to recommend the HP1700 as a lower
priced alternative.
