  5. If by "checkerplate" you mean what I would call "diamond-plate," I have two:

    *DIA-PL-1,Diamond-Plate, 1", 45 deg., Single-Line for smaller scales
    45,-0.265165,-0.265165,1,1,0.75,-1.25
    135,0.9722718,0.4419418,1,1,0.75,-1.25
    *DIA-PL-2,Diamond-Plate, 1", 45 deg., Double-Line for larger scales
    63.434947,0.1031197,-0.1031197,1.264911,0.6324556,0.4611655,-2.7011122
    63.434947,-0.3093592,-0.3093592,1.264911,0.6324556,0.4611655,-2.7011122
    26.565053,-0.3093592,-0.3093592,1.8973666,0.6324555,0.4611655,-2.7011122
    26.565053,-0.1031197,0.1031197,1.8973666,0.6324555,0.4611655,-2.7011122
    333.434947,0.6039871,0.6039871,1.264911,0.6324556,0.4611655,-2.7011122
    333.434947,0.3977476,1.016466,1.264911,0.6324556,0.4611655,-2.7011122
    296.565053,0.3977476,1.016466,1.8973666,0.6324555,0.4611655,-2.7011122
    296.565053,0.8102265,0.8102265,1.8973666,0.6324555,0.4611655,-2.7011122

If you want something that looks like a Checkerboard, I have this that might
    work for you:

*CHECKER,Square grid, Every Other Square shaded
    0,0,0,0,1
    90,0,0,0,1
    0,0,.1,0,2,1,-1
    0,0,.2,0,2,1,-1
    0,0,.3,0,2,1,-1
    0,0,.4,0,2,1,-1
    0,0,.5,0,2,1,-1
    0,0,.6,0,2,1,-1
    0,0,.7,0,2,1,-1
    0,0,.8,0,2,1,-1
    0,0,.9,0,2,1,-1
    270,-.1,0,0,2,1,-1
    270,-.2,0,0,2,1,-1
    270,-.3,0,0,2,1,-1
    270,-.4,0,0,2,1,-1
    270,-.5,0,0,2,1,-1
    270,-.6,0,0,2,1,-1
    270,-.7,0,0,2,1,-1
    270,-.8,0,0,2,1,-1
