Centerline tool not recognizing mirrored cylindrical features

  1. I can't quite picture what you are talking about, but it would make some
sense that the centerline would react to the feature, and only as far as the
end of the feature, if the mirror didn't join it all together.

I have a few swept parts in the job I am working on currently. I noticed
that when using the centerline tool it only adds centerlines to half of the
part, and the half of the part that was the origional sweep. The other side
of the part is a mirror of the first and doesn't get recognized.
SW 2004 sp4.2 could anyone verify if this behavior is consistent in 2005.

picture a bar as shown above.
The right side of it was sketched and swept.
The left side of it was a mirror of the right, and the result was merged
drop in a drawing and the right side only gets the Centerlines when applied
    to the view.
