    I am unfamiliar with cadence. I am actually trying to generate some
    interest in a CATIA newsgroup. Is there anyone in this group that is
    familiar with CATIA and would like to subscribe to a CATIA newsgroup? The
    idea would be to generate discussion on problems that we are having amongst
    ourselves. I have been able to find very little support for catia and a
    newsgroup would be an ideal tool.

    Catia and Cadence are completely different products (mechanical vs.
    electrical). You might have better luck in a Pro/E-related newsgroup
    (which is a Catia competitor, but some of the users there might have
    experience in both).
