Can't get redundant server setup to work

  1. AutoCAD 2004
    License Server v9.2

We are attempting to switch our license server for our autocad 2004 over
to a redundant server setup. I have already received my license string
from autodesk, and are able to get all three servers up and running to
where the status on all three servers shows me that all three servers
are up. At this time I am unable to get a license from the client.

When we take down the Master server to test the redundancy the status
gives me this message below and clients can not get a license.

We are able to ping all servers from each server and each client.
Anybody have and clues in what we are doing wrong. We have done
everything that "TS64907" says to do. When I called autodesk to get a
new string for a redundant server setup, she din not seem to know what I
was talking about so it worries me that she might have set up my license
    file wrong.

    thanks for any help.

  2. Did you set up your licpath.lic file on all clients? It should contain fist
for strings from the license file.

    Hope it helps

  3. Also can you send me directly your license file, debug log file and
    licpath.lic file.

    Regards
    Efim

Try installing to a shorter folder structure like C:\ADLM
I had similar error messages until I trimmed down the path.
It seemed related to windows not being able to start the services.

Beyond that one hiccup, the redundant model has been great. 2 years without
lossing quorum(not counting hardware related failures.)

  5. I have had problems with having it installed on D:\. But this was when
running MathCAD. I then had to create a folder named C:\FLEXlm

I saw this on both NT4 and 2000 server. But each time it was 3 NT or 3
    2000.
I never tried running a OS mix. I wonder if that could cause any
    trouble...
