Yes, but not with built-in Microsoft tools. Since a PST file is an Outlook data file, Outlook doesn't provide a direct option to export PST emails to Excel without first opening the mailbox.

If you don't have Outlook installed, you'll need a PST to Excel converter like Advik that can read the PST file independently and export email details—such as sender, recipient, subject, date, and folder information—to an Excel (XLS/XLSX) file.

If you only need a few emails, you can manually copy the information after opening the PST in Outlook. For large mailboxes or bulk exports, a dedicated converter is much faster and preserves the email metadata.

I also found a detailed guide that compares the manual and automated methods if you want to explore both options.
