Yes, you can merge ANSI and Unicode PST files into a single Outlook data file. Outlook stores older mailbox data in ANSI PST format, while newer versions use the Unicode PST format. Although the formats are different, they can be consolidated without affecting your email data.

If you're doing it manually, you'll need to open each PST file in Outlook and copy the mailbox data into a new Unicode PST, which can take a lot of time if you have multiple files.

For a faster approach, you can use Advik PST Merge Tool. It lets you combine both ANSI and Unicode PST files into one Unicode PST while preserving folder hierarchy, emails, attachments, contacts, calendars, and other mailbox items. This is especially useful when organizing old Outlook archives or preparing data for migration.
