Can AutoCad2004 core be loaded w/o Arch-Desktop?

I was talked into Architectural Desktop instead of AutoCAD 2004 Std. The company I purchased from was out of AutoCad2004 Std. I was told that I was getting bonus materials for the same price.

I want to load standard palettes instead of doors, windows, ... Also, the menubar is missing have the items. If I reset the profile, there is nothing in the palettes?

Is there a way to load the AutoCad2004 core without the Arch-Desktop?

Any help would be appreciated?
