We currently have a HP Designjet 750C Plus. Im not sure how old it is,
but we are looking to buy a new one and move the old one to
    manufacturing.

Im trying to get some recommendations on a new plotter. If anyone
knows much about them, please post comments/suggestions.

I typed the model# of the current plotter in google, got this

Yep I have the 750C A1 printer, since 98, still going Strong
For A4 and A3, get the HP 1220C.
    Both good as gold.

  4. I wasn't that impressed with our HP 1220Cs. The ones that didn't get too
much use seem to do OK, but the one we ran the most plots on (still only
averaging a few a day, probably less than 10) gave us quite a bit of
trouble. We probably had someone in to service it a couple of times a year.
We finally canned it this year when it seemed to be impossible to make it
respond to all of the users on the net. We've got a larger plotter now, a HP
Designjet 500 that is nice in some ways and a pain in the ass in others.

For what it's worth, I bought a used HP750C-A size (24" wide) years ago and haven't done anything except change cartridges
and paper rolls since. Oh, I did max out the memory a while back. It was advertised as being nearly new and hasn't had a
    single problem.
