Building GUI using SKILL

Discussion in 'Cadence' started by Mohamed Abdel Baset, May 9, 2010.

  1. Hi all,

I am new with SKILL and I want to build a GUI using it. I heard about
high level SKILL commands but I couldn't find any manuals for them.

    Could anybody help?

    Thanks in advance
    Mohamed

    Hi,

There is a Cadence guide called the "Cadence User Interface SKILL
    Functions".
If you find the PDF file 'skuiref.pdf', that would be it.
Also, look for the SKILL commands 'hiCreate*' in the cdsFinder.

However, I haven't found any documentation which shows a picture of
all the different types of GUI fields (buttons, cyclic-thingies,
    labels, listboxes, etc).
This document only shows pictures of some of them.
So, I just create a sample of a field first when I want to see what it
    looks like in a form.

    Best regards,
    I-FAB
