Just looking for some recommendations for a free virus scanner I can give out to my home users. All the time my users
bring in their home machines to be worked on and they are filled with virus/worms/spy ware. I install ad-aware to clean
out the spyware, but I have to install a corporate copy of trend to scan the system and then I remove it. Any
susgestions for something free I can give them?

Second that. Just installed Monday (kicked Norton out) and working fine.
No ads, reminders and updates are frequent.

    Third that!
I've had it on my computer for years and have installed it on several new installs.
    Automatic updates of .DAT files.
    Pretty cool.

I'm heading over there right now; thanks for the tip.

Point of interest: how come your post just showed up tonight? It's dated
    12/31/03.

  7. I bet Adesk is getting some of the issues with the web vs. ng syncs
    resolved.

The web team has resynched the newsgroup servers. Some of the
messages did not originally mirror between the HTTP and NNTP
servers. What you are seeing is the catch up after resynch.
