best customization technique

    Hello all. I'm starting with Autodesk Map customization. I was reading
    that now you can develop customized application in .NET.

    But I don't fully understand differences between .NET and AutoLisp
    development. Everything that can be done un AutoLisp can also be done
    in .Net ? And Viceversa?

    Not necessarly.

    ..NET, lisp, and VBA each have their own pros/cons

    ..NET is said to be the future of programming AutoCAD.
    VBA has been around for a while, will probably be supported in some
    regard for a few more years.
    lisp is the old standby. Easiest to learn and use.

    These are just my viewpoint. Head over to the VBA and .NET discussion
    groups at http://discussion.autodesk.com for much more educated opinions.
