Background color for dim edit/text edit box

    Does anyone know how to change the background color in the dim
    edit/text edit box? Mine is black and it makes it hard to see
    anything.

    I don't know if you can change the color, but you might want to try
    this:
    Go to your desktop and right click, select properties. Select the
    "Effects" tab and uncheck the "Smooth edges of screen fonts" option.
    Doing this made our fonts readable in the MText editor box. We use
    Windows 2000, but it should work the same with XP. Good luck.
