Issue: When using the "Text Rectangle" command in AutoSketch 9, the program stops responding and freezes. Task Manager shows that AutoSketch is consuming 98-100% of the CPU, and two instances of the program appear to be running.

    System Configuration:

    • Operating System: Windows XP SP2
    • Processor: Intel Pentium 4 1.5 GHz
    • RAM: 512 MB
    Video Card:

    • Model: NVIDIA Quadro2 Pro
    • BIOS Version: 3.15.00.11.01
    Drawing Information:

    • Drawing Type: New original AutoSketch 9 drawing
    • Font Used: Arial
    • Font Size: 0.10”
    • Text Entered: “2814 C.S.”
    • Text Rectangle Dimensions: The rectangle is taller than it is wide.
Hi Everyone, I'm Emmanuel Katto from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Create a text rectangle that is taller than it is wide.
    2. Enter the text “2814 C.S.” with a space in between.
    3. The text may or may not wrap correctly, and eventually, the program freezes.
At this point, Task Manager shows two instances of AutoSketch running and consuming 98-100% CPU, causing the system to become unresponsive.

    Drawing Settings:

    • Units: Feet-Inches
    • Decimal Precision: 0.01
    • Fractional Precision: 1/8
    • Scalar Precision: 0.01
    Regards

    • Grid: Snap interval set to 0.25”
    • Scale: Architectural (1/8” = 1’)
