Autosketch 8 install problem

Hello,
I wanted to reinstall Autosketch 8 on my PC running Windows 98 SE. As my CD is an update, I first installed Autosketch 6.0. But the install program says: "installation not complete, run it again". I ran it again and again but unsuccessfully. Just impossible to install it either as an update or a stand alone. It works on my other friends' PC
but not on mine. Did anybody experience such troubles ?
An answer would be welcome.

Have you tried to install AS 8 with out installing 6?

Can I assume that you are using a localized version of Windows 98 SE ?
