Hello all, new to the Forum.
Been using AutoCad for years but following a crash I had reload my AutoCad 2006 discs into a new machine. For some reason it will only load Autodesk. That's my first problem.
More importantly during the drawing process, if I check a dimension it will display a metric dimension. If I place a dimension within the drawing it shows it in metric. Then for no reason, the distance command shows an imperial size but the dimension command remains in metric. I want to keep everything in metric. Any thoughts?

Check your units by typing Units at the command prompt. Then check your dimension style unit format. Check to see if your units are set to Architectural instead of Decimal. Both should be set at decimal.
