    Hi all,
I have a problem to insert images in my dwg file. I have some
colour photos(640x480x24b) I want to resize and put in my autocad file.

If I choose to insert a raster image, I can't resize image without lose
    resolution.

The same problem if I past photos as OLE object.

If I resize images "by hand"(in autocad) resolution is lost.

Maybe there is some ploblem in my settings or preferences but I don't know
    where...can someone help me?

What means? Small images? When I say "resize" I want to say do photos
smaller than original...can You be more clear? ;)

    Thanx

  4. Simply put: raster images cannot be resized without loss of quality.
It's a fact of life. Make it smaller, and the software has to decide
which pixels to throw away. Make it larger, and the software has to
    decide which pixels to invent.

Various tools and techniques exist to minimize the degradation in
quality - you'll need image editing software like Paint Shop Pro and
    the like.

A general tip: for colour photos, stick with JPEG or PNG. Or 24-bit
    color TIFF.

    Hope this helps,
