AutoCad LT 2011 Drawing Question

    I use ACAD LT 2011 on an HP laptop with Windows 7 Pro.
    I like it. It does the 2D stuff that I need.

    One BIG problem. When I go into Ortho mode the program seems to slow
    down dramatically. I draw a line (in Ortho mode) and it's literally
    one, one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand until the
    crosshairs come back. It's like the whole system bogs down. Any
    thoughts or help with this would VERY much appreciated.
