    Hello there.

    I've a LAN with several PCs and 5 installed 2008 licenses.
    Now, when *one specific* PC is not running, another user working on his
    PC with AutoCAD 2008 experiences slowness when switching from one layout
    to another. Actually I focused just on this two PCs, noticing that on
    the one that is shut down when the problem occurs many other PCs try to
    connect to it on port 445.

    What I noticed in particular is following scenario:
    computer A is not running;
    computer B switches from one layout to another and EXACTLY at this time,
    a TCP connection to the IP address of PC A on port 445 is opened. This
    obviously fails and exactly this behaviour introduces a timeout and
    slowness.

    Anybody knows what's happening?

    Thanks...

    Is the turned-off computer listed in any of the AutoCAD PATH specifications
    on the machine that slows down?
