I have a draftsman that is having back problems. The doc. seems to think
that some of it stems from constantly leaning over a table (with redlines on
it) and then swinging back to the computer. Does anyone have any experience
w/ some type of a desktop easel or adjustable board that we could set up to
stand the dwgs up as opposed to having them lay on the table?

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Large drawings on an old drafting table next to the desk, for smaller 11 x
17 for example can go on a secretarial easel you can pick up at any office
    supply

If you can break the set apart, you can use a neat wall mounted device to
hang the sheets. I bought one at our local drafting supply house. It has
double stick tape and an aluminum extrusion with a metal tube inside.
Insert the sheet and it just hangs there. Slide the sheet to get it out.
You can also buy monitor mounted sheet hangers. I do a lot of redmarks. ;-)

MDA needs your help. I'm going to jail if I don't raise my bail.

I have the Spiroll Model DS36 Document Stand which is for Arch D size
drawings and it works very well. It has two adjustments for height above
desktop and 5 adjustments for angle. It sits on the edge of a table with an
adjustable support arm that sits on top of the table behind it. It also has
a tray at the bottom for "junk" and a paper holder at the top that works
suprisingly well for as many as 25-30 sheets. The only downside is that it
takes away all of the desktop space behind and under it. I bought it about
10 years ago and at the time I don't think it was more than $75 or so.
