annoying tool tip ballons in 2004

Is there a registry option to kill the tool tip ballons in in 2004.
It seems like if I uncheck the toolbar tip option in part mode they
come back in assembly mode and drawing mode. I have the same
experience with the quick tips help at the lower left corner of the
screen.

bob z. doesn't have an answer for you, just a question to add. Why doesn't
solidworks have an 'expert' mode? A setting that gets rid of all the
annoying little popups, questions and tooltips. bob z. uses the little prog
'push the freakin button', but why should he waste precious resources or 3rd
party software?

 

I made the popup help go away by turning off in an empty part, then an empty
assy, then an empty drawing. It seems that the setting is per file, not
global. Have you tried that?

OK... that turns off the tooltips. Have you found a way to turn off the
big-ass "idiot box" in the lower right hand corner called "quick tips". I
would very much like it to go away forever. It pops randomly distracting me,
I hate it allot.

Are we targeting kindergarten kids with SW now, or what.
