    Hi,

I am new to 3d cad after may years of AutoCAD.....

I have a drawing of a plate with lots of blind holes ( Done )

I have a drawing of pins that should fit into those holes.

All is well and I can make an assembly of my part and various pins, I align
using the concentric mate the pin to the hole.... And then I am stuck, the
pins need to be then positioned so that they sit on the bottom of the hole
??? How do I do this. I have tried everything. All I need to do is to move
the bottom of the pin to the base of the hole, but no luck..... The only way
for now is to turn on the clashdetection and then free move it till it
stops, but there is a better way I am sure.

    Thanks for any help

    Ian

Ok, I fixed it by removing the orignal extrude cut and replacing with holes
from the hole wizard.... This works fine as I expected, but it fails if I
    extrude cut a hole though

    Cheers
