Acad 2000 - Pack n Go - "No Write Permission on Target Drive"

A user came to me with a problem successfully writing a packngo to
either a network drive or the desktop. She gets the error "No Write
Permissions on Target Disk". She has Power User Rights on Windows XP
SP1 and full read/write permissions on the folders on the Netware 6sp2
volume (client 4.9).

When I log in with Administrative rights, PnG works fine, with no
complaints.

Some google searches turned up only a TID from 1998, but I can't find
it on AutoDesk's site.

Any ideas appreciated.

The user probably also needs local ADMIN rights.

AutoCAD users need local ADMIN rights? Whatever for?

Except for R2004, that's how Autodesk created AutoCAD. Upgrade? Or give in:
tips posted all over this NG. You missed that upgrade boat if you really are
on R2000, deadline for upgrade discounts was yesterday.

Thanks for all of the information you have given me. I'll investigate
elsewhere.
