    Hello,
I work in IT for an engineering firm which utilizes AutoCAD 2002 on
    NT4.0 PC's.
The PC's in question are good spec with at least 1/2 gig ram and P4
    processors.
AutoCAD is installed on the local PC from the network and is licensed
    from a network manager server.

Question is: When users log off or attempt to shutdown, they close all
programs including AutoCAD, but on an increasing number of them the
PC's won't shut down cleanly with task manager coming up saying
"acad.exe" is not responding to the shutdown command, as if it's
    staying alive in the background.
Clicking 'end task' usually does the trick, but not always and it can
    take ages to shutdown.

Anyone have any ideas / suggestions...
    TIA
