    Does anyone know of a .plt file that creates 2 bit b/w files in one
    go, the standard Microstation tiff.plt outputs 24 bit colour files, I
    know you can convert the 24 bit to 2 bit in V8's raster manager, but
    I'd rather not create the 24 bit files in the first place.

    Mike,
    I do not know about the 2 bit part.
    I do know you can output to B/W by editing and using the tiff.plt
    file and find the number of pens.

    num_pens= 255 ;Defines pens used <- this is full colour

    change that to

    num_pens= 1 ;Defines pens used <- this is b/w

    text behind the semicolon is ignored.
    Well, there's a start.

    I fixed it right the first time,
    it must have failed for other reasons.

    Thank's Ivo
    I've already done that, the files are still 24 bit colour even though
    they come out B/W an so the file size is still much larger than it
    need be
