Is anyone getting the following in the terminal window where icfb was
started or have any ideas what it means?

I've seen "File exists" errors before. I think this comes from the operating
system and not from icfb itself, probably because icfb is invoking a system
command that creates or moves a results file. Icfb is trying to write a
file, but the file already exists. Either the file is write protected or for
some reason icfb doesn't want to overwrite it. There is probably a filename
listed somewhere in the CIW since icfb should know about the write error. If
you can find the filename you might be able to remove the existing file or
at least change it's permissions. If the file is not yours to change then
you might be able to set an environment variable or change one of your
initialization files to create the file in another directory.

I have seen a case wher the user "cleverly" assigned the CSH
    environment variable DRCTEMPDIR
to a "known big scratch disk".

At a later date he got all sorts of problems with diva and was traced
    to this bogus directory.
